Default Strange Club Car Lighting Issue

I have a 2017 Precedent Electric Club Car bought new.
Recently the tail lights are behaving a little whacko!?! I always plug in the charger when the cart is not in use. Sometimes I leave the ignition switch on, sometimes not. The lights are always turned off when the cart is parked.

Recently I have noticed that the taillights illuminate after the cart has been on charge for a period of time. This only seems to happen if the ignition switch is not turned off during charging.

Since I always set the brake when the cart is parked, I thought perhaps it was a brake light microswitch issue, but the brake lights operate normally when I drive the cart.

Any ideas as to the cause if this strange occurrence??

Many carts are now setup so the lights turn off automatically, not sure if this is what you are seeing.

No, this has never happened until last week! I park the cart, lights turned off. Set the brake. Plug in the charger. All lights still off after charging begins. If I don't turn off the ignition switch....

hours later the tail lights (or perhaps they are the brake lights) are on!

No idea, unless there is some interaction between the charger and the controller for the lights. Good luck on this one.
