Wondering if anyone knows what was going on last night over in the area of the tunnel just beyond the Haciendas of Mission Hills, heading toward the Morse Blvd. bridge? We were coming eastbound on the trail that runs along 466, around 10:15, when we saw flashing police-car lights ahead. One sheriff's car, with lights flashing, sat just off the cart path, appearing to block the roadway on the west side of the roundabout. (just our quick perception of what we were seeing in the darkness) As we rounded the bend and started down toward the tunnel there was an older white golf cart sitting perpendicular to the tunnel, almost blocking the cart path. The seat of the cart was dislodged and there looked like "strings" hanging everywhere. They were not wires or cords, they were "strings". The cart had been abandoned and was left in a very dangerous place on the path. We proceeded through the tunnel and then saw another sheriff's car with lights flashing at the entrance to the villas (Haciendas of Mission Hills) Two officers were outside of the vehicle but we were not able to figure out what they were doing. NO police or sheriffs were near the abandoned cart so we don't know if there was a connection or not. It all just seemed very strange.
