Streaming YOUTUBETV via Infinity breaks up channels...why?
I have Infinity Internet service and when streaming YoutubeTV the channels breakup with short interruptions. When I stream Netflix, TUBI, AppleTV,etc, the interruptions are not occurring. I've reset Samsung TV, Reset Router, unplugged....any suggestions?

It only happens with YouTube TV? My guess would be a YouTube service or YouTube app issue. Best you might do is remove and reinstall the app. Could let YouTube know as well.

Certain televisions (notably Samsung) when connected to WiFi have the capability to feed you advertising. You actually gave them permission to do this when you initially entered your WiFi credentials. I know there is a way around this because I had bought my son a Samsung TV and he did figure out how to block the ads - he may have reset the tv to the initial specs and then when he entered his wifi information, he made sure not to agree to their terms.
You can also add an external streaming tv device (such as Google Chromecast TV, Roku, or Firestick) and them turn off the WiFi on the tv. This will turn your "smart" tv into a plain old tv and stop all the nonsense. |

Are you running YouTube TV from an app on your Smart TV, or from a Firestick or Roku? TV manufacturers want to sell TV's, not apps. Often times their apps are designed to provide minimal functionality, and they don't spend time on extensive testing and performance enhancements.
Firestick and Roku devices are sold on the sole basis of providing a good streaming experience, so the apps are vetted to high standards. If your TV is a Firestick or Roku TV, that counts as using a Firestick or Roku. If you're using a regular Smart TV, try adding a cheap Firestick or Roku - the issue will most likely go away. |

If you are using the built-in app on a smart TV, it is possible that the YouTubeTV app needs to be updated. This is easy to do on a Roku stick, but it may be difficult on a built-in smart TV app. I use Roku sticks on all of my TVs, even though they are smart TVs.
