I spoke to this issue on another thread but in my view what underlies this issue is that some auto drivers view golf carts as an annoyance. As to ownership of a street legal golf cart like issues of this sort its a personal preference and one I'll respect...live and let live.

After 10 years of living here I avoid the diamond lanes until I can't preferring to remain on the MMP's.

Overall I do not know the cause but based on comments by posters on this forum people seem so much more disagreeable these days and some of them down right nasty . Its a concern because while some may say it doesn't reflect TV the fact is that it may well be so. I say this because posters remain anonymous thus freely reflect their true feelings whereas those not on this board may be polite but less than honest.

You hit the nail on the head. If you like street legals, get one. If you don't, get over it. If you feel golf carts are too dangerous, don't ride in one at all. Life is full of risks, and as all adults, we make our own choices, like those of us who ride motorcycles. To call people "idiots", "organ donors" and "Darwin Award Winners" reflects more poorly on the people who made those comments than who they were directed at.

Now what about that solid white line dividing the lanes? I do believe that means to stay in YOUR lane!

Thoughtless arrogant people use terms such as reference...and the sister to arrogance is ignorance
