I mean No disrespect to P&J with the following but I would put the tickets written at about 26 -27 a month based on the 2011 district 6 report. Regarding "laughing in a officers face" I am 56 years old and I learned as a teenager that does not improve your odds in that situation, kinda like farting in bed during a potentially romantic moment...
I was pulled over in August on Sweetwater at the bottom of the hill by the Havana par three. I was going 23 , I told the officer I had just bought the cart (used) , he gave me a warning.

I took the cart to the Villages Golf Car store and they serviced it. They told me something about a tie wrap the prior owned had put on the governor, preventing it from working and allowing the cart to go faster... With the tie wrap removed it did not speed up going down on hills, before that is was like a runaway freight train... I also had them install a speedometer. I like to live a little myself but I do not believe in pushing my luck.

Fran welcome back, from the former HB.

We are still watching Brit sit coms. Doubt if we will ever change.

Mike - you're not surprised are you? It doesn't matter how you phrase it on TOTV, people will still argue the wrong point.

I got it a long time ago.The cops pull your cart over for speeding, but they really want to hit you with the unregistered vehicle citation. Sounds like a great money maker for the county.
