The Pro has suction cups for the windshield and can be transferred between any car you own or rent. I keep my balance at $10 and automatically have it refill from my bank account. We even use it for parking at MCO… quite convenient.

I even used mine in KS when driving from PA to CO… disappointed CO toll roads did not accept it but I think it’s planned to soon.

Question

And, why are you not on the SunPass website where all your questions are answered?

It looks like the only question he asked that is answered on sunpass.com is whether there is a warranty. His other questions are asking for users' experience with the product - the best source for those answers are the users themselves.

Redundancy:
If you already have an E-ZPass, you do not need to purchase a SunPass Pro as it will work in the same areas.
Unless something has changed recently, an EZPass doesn't not work everywhere a SunPass Pro works ... for example, parking at MCO.

Do you own a car now? Use that plate for the account. It doesn't matter if that plate never goes through a Florida toll booth, just use that plate that you own to create the account. Create the account with your current plate, order the device sent to your house, add the rental car when you get here and have the information.

Chances are Sunpass.com wants you to create an account in order to collect credit card information and a shipping address. If you buy the device on Amazon they already have that information. If you buy it in person at Walgreen's (or elsewhere) they will ask for your credit card and don't need your address. Sunpass.com seems to be trying to simplify the process by collecting the information as part of creating the account.

Excellent response, getting right to the heart of the matter. I bought my SunPass Pro while still living up north & with a northern registered car. When I registered a car here in Florida, I updated my SunPass account to my new FL license plate.

Default And something else . . .

A few comments mentioned renting cars at MCO. There is another system, the Visitor Toll Pass, available only I think at the airport. Don't know much about it, you will have to do your own research.
