Default Super Senior Executive Golf

Has anyone played with the Super Senior Executive Golf Group? You have to be over 70, and you are paired into a foursome. They play 3 times a month.

My husband played golf three times a week until he hurt his back (on the fishing boat) two years ago. We have just moved to TV and he is going to try playing golf again, we think, beginning with the Seniors group. Just wondered if anyone here has played with them, or if there is another place to start playing again.

You will embarrass yourself if you go out to play with these guys.......If you look at their scores you'll realize that they are good.........
You might want to go out late in the evening , thats when many who are learning and others who haven't played in a while are brushing up.....good luck .............

Default Super Seniors Executive Play Scrambles

Despite what FUMAR says, I'd suggest your husband give it a go. They play a scramble format where the pressure to play each shot well is not as great. If your husband can make any contribution to his team's success, he'll be more than welcome. Putters -- good putters -- are always in demand. Typical scores range from Par up to several under Par.

Default Thanks!

They play the 2nd, 3rd and fourth Friday of each month and rotate golf courses. You must be 70 to play, both men and women.

Burt just signed up for Friday. Today is the last day to sign up for this Friday.

Thanks to everyone who replied. We are going to the educational session on Wednesday, so the next time we sign up for golf it will be quicker.
