Sure am tired of Power flicking on and off about every other day
The title says it all. My power goes out about 2 time a week for a brief flicker. It's annoying because of the resetting of clocks, etc. It's not my electrical and I live in Rio Grande. Anybody else annoyed?

Our power has been out just 2 times in 8 years, we live in Belevedere. Have you checked with your neighbors to make sure it is not just a problem at your house? A couple times a week would be annoying. If the neighbors are going out too I would be calling Seco to get to the bottom of the problem.

That isn't supposed to happen in an established area. Sometimes power is interrupted in a new area where they are building nearby because of new attachments to the power grid. Sounds like a circuit is overloaded or something is wrong. That's it. I don't know anything about brain surgery either. One of our wise retired electricians on this forum is gonna solve this for you.

I am sure if it happens that frequently you have already called SECO.

We have the same problem here in Mira Mesa. Went out for a brief time this morning. Our neighbors experience it too.

But what did SECO say was the problem?

Beyond checking with SECO, also talk to your neighbors and make sure this is a neighborhood problem, and not just your house. Let SECO know what you find. If neighbors are seeing this have them call also.
Let us know the results, thanks.

Definitely need to report this to SECO. If your neighbors are experiencing the same thing it is most likely a SECO issue.
