Default Neighbors House all MOLD

I don't think it has ever been power washed. The back and side all green.
Is there anything that can be done? I sit in my lanai and my view is a moldy green house.
Thanks for your time.

My guess is that they would not consider it a violation.

There is a reason for everything. Do you know these neighbors? Do you talk to them? Have you mentioned the issue to them? I sometimes do some chores for some of my neighbors. I am not paying for house cleaning, but it helps to be aware of why they are not keeping up the property.

A trip to the online news source that shall not be named, and entry of the word mold in the search function will get you many stories of compliance enforcement over mold on homes and even on driveways.

This is such a good point...this is a neighbor. I know staring at a moldy house is a problem and not a great thing to look at, but maybe being neighborly could go a long way.
I just searched the site, and there is a whole section for exterior cleaners. It could be kind to let them know you were looking at the house while you were having your morning coffee and wanted to share a few companies that could help them out.

Just an idea....

YES, YES, YES, and, we've used others with great success. Takes anywhere from 5-8 minutes, or up to 20 to walk around the entire house. Does not take much effort, anyone whose health is good enough to allow them to just hold a hose, can do it with no effort, and the results are wonderful. Thanks to the Ace hardware clerk who put us on to these easy, attach the pre-mixed container to a common hose, and turn it on. Sprays to reach the highest spots !

What a kind and rational reply. Sometimes I read stories and comments about our
Friendliest hometown in America, and just wonder at the words of some. These are our NEIGHBORS. If you don't even speak to them, now is the time. Are they ill ? Is money a problem (at the price of hamburger, something has to be cut, maybe the cost of power washing) ? We also try to help our neighbors, and not just those we know well. Yes, offering to paint the interior of an entire home is not a reasonable expectation, but at the low cost of the very effective cleaners you simply attach to a hose and and only "work" to it is simply holding the hose, it would be a kind offering with little cost to you (or any kind neighbor). A way to approach it without a callous or sarcastic attitude, would be to simply let them know YOU are washing down your home, or part of it, and say you notice they to have some mold forming on their back wall and you'd be glad to give it a spray while you are doing yours. Actually, a tactful person could do this without even having to do their own (though most homes can always stand a hosing down !), just get a bottle and connect it to your hose, and ask your neighbor if you can give his/hers a quick spray while you're out doing some on your house. It really could be done without hurting or embarrassing your own neighbors. Much kinder than "calling standards" and "turning in people" ! ? Why do that when first you can at least find out if your neighbors need help ???

done but I don't know if PM even allows us to name the online news source. You may just get *********** where I typed real words. Google is your friend and you should be able to find the source using search words like villages florida mold and community standards. It really is not hard to find stuff most of the time.

Can this "Wet and Forget" product be used on boulders that are placed in the landscape? I have a few on our property and I have been using Clorox Outdoor. I still need to scrub the boulders a bit to get them clean. Wondering if "Wet and Forget" is easier with better results.
