Default Nature today

We ladies played at Saddlebrook this morning....it was a good day for golf. When we got to hole 5, this wee beastie was observed resting out in the lake. A maintenance man working at the water's edge started telling us about the particular gator. Apparently he/she has experienced a "growth spurt" and is now just about double the size it was during the summer....and it's nasty, too!
He tells us this particular gator is far from docile....it's pretty aggressive according to this worker. If you're playing Saddlebrook, just keep a watchful eye for this gator.....it was indeed large. Haven't seen any gators in a while, and even though this one is said to be particularly nasty, it still was nice to see it.

Default More Nature

While you were playing golf, I started my morning at 6.30 am at the Bailey Trail pond taking a photo or two of a stately heron I've seen there for a long time.
