RUMORS

Rumors like music.
Float through the air.
You can choose to ignore them.
Or decide that you care.

These tales are rampant.
So often not true.
They spread as warm butter.
Stick around like strong glue.

Rumors are stories.
Cloaked in disguise.
Some might be truthful.
Or worse, blatant lies.

I find it best to ignore them.
Hope soon they depart.
And don't try to decipher.
Just where did they start.

Best rumor off the top of my head was the developer was going to move the polo grounds and build more house.

When I bought my house 2 1/2 yrs ago my salesman told me that he heard when the the last phase is built, the area by the new execs, the designers will start at $500k. I didn't believe him but I had my fingers crossed. I've seen that kind of inflation at the Jersey shore. I don't think he made that up. Someone in sales probably told him. Some rumors you just want to believe are true.
