I thought that anything permanent in a home was not taxed.

don't let this one incident deter you from thinking what you want to...

Sort of related. In the old days some people had a cash business. Of course everyone is honest but they would end up with what I call suitcase money. Un-taxed money that they can't show. A friend who has/had a retail store told me due to credit card rebates etc, there is very little cash in businesses.

When, you go into a store and they have a sign minimum for a credit card ?????
The reason is the credit card charges them say 2%. Assuming their profit is 10%.
That 2% which is on the gross amount is 2.00 on $100 20% of the profit.

Having a business in Fl for a number of years in my opinion. Goods purchased or products if install us included all will.be taxed if separate you may bypass taxes. There us a different tax base if home improvement.
