Open times that are not used are wasted. You too can take up an open slot if you want to golf with people you don't know. I do it on a regular basis. I've really enjoyed the people's company. You need to be somewhat social. Now if you do that you have to understand, the more games you play the less priority you have in the system. So when you put in for a 3some or a 4some you may not get your tee time. If you pick a small window of time to golf, or a select few courses you again limit your chances to play. I'm a single golfer, here since Oct. 5th. and I have it figured out. I don't worry about what everyone else is doing, what they have, what I don't have, I focus on the great gifts god has given me, and how great it is to be alive, living here in the Villages. We can always find things to be unhappy about, but I choose to focus on the things I can be happy about. It makes for a much happier life. Look around. There's a lot of people that truly have it rough. Be thankful for what you have. Don't worry, be happy.

I believe this was executive golf and he had also played additional championship rounds. That averages out, in round numbers, to over 3 rounds of golf per day, every single day of the year. The article further stated there were some days where he played 7 or more rounds. Hello! I have always been told the rule on executive courses is one round max per day, with certain minor exceptions at a few courses where you could do a back-to-back two round day at certain times of the year. And irrespective of the one round per day rule, the way the tee time point system works, it would have been impossible to get that many tee times! It is virtually impossible to play once every day, especially in busy season. I would sure like to know who this guy is paying off to get all these tee times while at the same time denying the rest of us even one time on many days.
