Do we know what steps in addition to wearing a mask they took?

Do we know if they were going to self isolate for 2 weeks after going out for the first time in 18 months?

You're right, my bad. I made the assumption that they were wearing the typical paper/cloth masks, but it could have been N95's, we don't know. Of course, walking into a restaurant that had a no mask policy with N95's on is just begging for a confrontation with management, and since "lawsuits" were mentioned, I will assume that was their goal.

Funny, but it's the no masks, no vaccine tribe who are throwing temper tantrum fits at airports, school board and government meetings, fast food restaurants, etc. It's as if they have an aversion to helping themselves and others in our fight with an unseen enemy.

I missed that. Is the policy posted? If so, they should have honored that, if not, then if they had no way of knowing, they should have left when told. Oh, they did. Maybe we it didn't need a news tory about it - unless something else made it news worthy. Dunno.

I don't know either. You would think that a restaurant that made this unusual policy would post it on the door, just like businesses that "requested" or "required" them posted, but who knows.

Okay.....They DID NOT bring the child to the bar/restaurant....repeat DID NOT.
The child was left home with grandma and the couple was out for a date nite with friends. There are numerous people....including the waitress at the establishment who are confirming the facts are true.

I saw the story on the local Dallas news.....Waitress said it was true. The manager even said it was true.

That is a bare faced lie!!!! The couple left on their own, and have not contacted a lawyer. The owner of the bar confirmed on the local news it did in fact happen. Do you mean to say that they should stay in their house forever without going out for anything, just living off the government because they can't go to work. Be serious they have every right to go out. If they want to wear a mask it is their privilege. It looks to me as if the restaurant didn't want to serve them either because of the mask (political discrimination) or their ethnic background (ethnic discrimination).

They conflated this story with the one, I think in NYNY.

Never said they had to stay in their house. I said it was quite foolish of them to think that they were protecting themselves and by proxy their baby by wearing a mask. The restaurant is private property and can make a no mask policy if they want. Not serving someone violating their policy is NOT "political discrimination", and as long as they enforce their rule equally against anyone with a mask it is NOT "ethnic discrimination"

Not sure why you are blaming, Texas has nothing to do with it, it could of happened anywhere.
It's the owner of the bar they went to that was the issue. Rowlett is also a small town, so who knows.
