Thanks to the jerk who stole the rear mat in my wife's golf cart (2025 Evolution D5 4+) on Thursday evening. We were at Sawgrass from about 5:00PM - 6:30PM and noticed it missing when we got home.

Enjoy it. You are very lucky I did not catch you in the act.

It was pretty windy from the storm that moved through the area.
Perhaps retrace your route and see if it blew out along the way, or in the parking lot.

Lots of people park their golf carts and leave loaded golf bags. I am always amazed by the generosity of Villagers.

I'm always amazed to. Plenty of full sets and bags to choose from and if the thief has the bonus of the key left in the ignition. Bye bye cart too!

Seems like an odd “theft” from some “jerk”. You sure it did not blow out? Was there anything special about the mat? I would think if it’s identifiable (monogrammed or some odd color) and the “jerk” frequents Sawgrass in a (2025 Evolution D5 4+) you could just take it back some evening, LOL

It didn’t blow out - it’s heavy duty rubber & is too heavy to blow out.

It does have a colored border that matches the color of the cart.

Agree - I don’t leave unattended golf clubs on the carts.

Whatever- new one already ordered. Enjoy it. You obviously need it more than we do.

Should be able to find it someday, you know what cart to look for and with the colored border was, even if they try to paint it, should be able to tell.

We’ve met a lot of nice people since we moved here. It was just a little surprising.

Rush to the worst. Has to have been "some jerk". It's certainly possible that it was stolen, but you don't really know. You're just angry that you don't have the mat.

There are plenty of threads here about theft of items from golf carts at a town square. Sure, I'm angry. Wouldn't you be? As I said in my prior post, I am venting.

Now you know, beware of "crimes of opportunity." Sadly, it can be the case no matter where you live. It has to with the nature of some people.
