Over 20 years ago had both knees 'scoped which left me with about 25% of my cartilage and it has been fine. Now, after 20+ years I'm starting to feel it again. Not severe but we walk ~6 miles a day and it is starting to become noticeable.
Anyone had the Viscosupplementation procedure I see advertised all over the place on TV and in the paper where they inject a lubricating fluid into the knee using a "real time" fluoroscope so they can watch where the fluid goes. If so did it help? Not interested in any surgery at this time and really don't think I am that far gone to require it anyway. Here is one provider advertising in todays Happy News: Viscosupplementation - Physicians Rehabilitation
