Hi, wondering if anyone else is seeing mildew and mold in shower seams where it joins together. If so how are you cleaning it. I've tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and cue tips. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you. |

Gp66 is a spray cleaner I bought from QVC. Use in my shower, for my grout, and any other hard surface. Took care of the shower in our pre-owned that I never thought would come clean.

Run your shower fan for 30 minutes after using the shower--install a spring wound 30 minute timer switch--really works in all shower enclosures

I've had that problem in two-part showers. Often, the mold was under the caulk, where no cleaner will get to it. Get a good quality, mildew resistant caulk. Pull out the old caulk, clean thoroughly with bleach or other mildew remover. Let dry - bone dry. Replace the caulk according to instructions.
In my experience this has to be done every 4 - 5 years. It isn't hard, just a PITA. |
