The sign is in the process of being put up as we speak. It will be a brand new Publix! Let the cheering begin for all of us newbies close to Brownwood!

On the lots they are clearing in front of Brownwood. My husband was driving by when they were putting up the sign.

We are so thrilled to have a new Publix coming!! I asked months ago and was told one was coming soon. I am a Publix girl through and through!!

It is a Publix,,, Grand Traverse Plaza. Unit 969 Alden Bungalows Will be on the north end of the plaza,, It is happening,, No turning Back,, It does not face 301. It is at 44 and Powell Rd... The Manager at Colony Plaza is a being from another planet and was left clueless by Publix higher ups. He is a decoy.

Anything I left Out??? Oh Rumor a new Walmart in that same area......

We are so happy for the folks in the south. HOWsomeever, I have heard it will be a little smaller than the Colony one. PLEASE don't look a gift horse in the mouth and please don't blame the developer.

how about a super walmart were the prices are $1.00 less per item for the same product and brand.

Speaking personally, I will accept a small Publix rather than no Publix at all. And two WalMarts is enough is you live near them. They are a long way from Brownwood.
