Default Door chime?

I will call warranty dept. tomorrow, if they’re open, but I thought someone here would know the answer. I built new 2021. Do you know the make and model of the door chime (interior)? Thanks.

These usually slip over one or 2 screws and should be simple to slide off the wall, then you should see a sticker with the make and model of the model info.

More than likely it’s a Nutone, which the builders here have installed for years. It’ll also be listed on the new home detail order you house received at closing. If you didn’t receive it, you can also enter your TV ID# on this site, which should show the details you’re looking for.

Nutone is a slightly off white color cover. About 6x10 inches. Says NuTone embossed lower right

They don’t make it easy but I finally found a lead. In small print, embossed in the black plastic, I found Broan Nutone. I looked them up and was able to find it (just the mechanism), on Amazon. Thank you for the quick reply.

I checked the product search on that website, no luck. I don’t know the category the door chime would be in but I couldn’t find it. Fortunately, I did find it on the mechanism. It was difficult to see but I did find it. Thank you for your help. I didn’t know we had access to that website. I will hang on to it, thank you.

Instead of fixing this, go out and buy a Ring doorbell with camera. I put ours in in our 2021 house. You bypass the interior chime device and Ring will actually ring on all our Apple devices when there is motion or when somebody presses the doorbell button. If we don’t want to answer the door, we can start a conversation with the person outside the door.

A Ring Bell requires a working doorbell unless you want to constantly remove it to charge battery.

All doorbells are the same. Wiring the same. Just get a new one that is as big or larger to cover old holes/paint. Also before buying take the button off outside and touch the wires together briefly. If the bell rings you have a bad button. Amazon has the best price and selection of either part.

Default Door Chine

Had the same issue before changing to a nest doorbell. The transformer in the garage attic died. Just an FYI if you replace only the doorbell.
