RECREATION AND GOLF UPDATE 10/10/24
10 PM


RECREATION: All indoor facilities, parks, fields, and softball complexes, excluding those listed below, will reopen for regular business operations on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Pools and courts remain closed until further notice.

**Areas of the Lake Sumter Landing boardwalk are flooded. Out of caution, we ask you please NOT approach the area until it has been deemed safe to do so. ***

Regional Recreational Centers (Including Adjacent Buildings)
Paradise (NO POWER)

Village Recreational (Including Adjacent Buildings)
· Southside (NO POWER)
· Silver Lake (NO POWER)
· Moyer (NO POWER)

Neighborhood Recreational Centers (Including Postal Station)
Hilltop (NO POWER)
Parks and Fields
· Paradise Lake Park (Vegetation)
· Paradise (Knudson) Field (Vegetation & Flooding)
· Brinson-Perry Dog Park (Vegetation)

Softball Complexes
· Everglades
· Buffalo Glen
· Knudson

GOLF: All Championship and Executive golf courses will be closed until further notice for post- storm recovery and stormwater mitigation efforts. Updates will be provided as reopening procedures and post-storm evaluations take place. It may take several days to weeks to reopen all Executive Golf Courses.

Tee times will NOT be scheduled until post-storm assessments have been made and courses are deemed safe for play.

Friday, October 11, 2024
· Golf & Tennis/Academy Operations will reopen for normal business operations
· Golf & Tennis Shops will reopen for normal business operations
· Tee Times Office will reopen for normal business operations
· Driving Ranges will reopen based on post-storm evaluations

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the golf courses will be closed for a while.
