I have a friend in need of someone with carpentry skills to install chair rail. Would prefer someone who specifically does carpentry work, since this involves many inside and outside corner cuts.

I have installed more chair rail and shadow boxes than you can imagine but that is NOT in demand anymore. Just let your friend know that if it “floats their boat” then do it but for resale it doesn’t help
