Easy fix don’t put clocks up so high…

I agree with you. Spring ahead & then leave it alone. I have hopes it will happen soon (within the next few years).

Not really good for working world. Kids catching bus in dark. O wait privileged kids don’t ride buses anymore. Sorry.

Clocks don’t matter still only so many sunlight hours in day. What it does eases most of the working world so they don’t go to work in dark and come home in dark.

Better to leave it up high so if clock falls time can really fly

Simpler still: do away with DST and just stay on standard time.

No, do away with Standard Time and stay on Daylight Savings Time. It SAVES. That's why they call it that ! :duck:

Skip

I live in Arizona now and it sure has been nice not setting our clocks/microwave/stove twice a year. Am hoping that someone in the state legislature does some thing about this!

I look at it kind of like Groundhog Day. The start of DST means 6 more weeks until the snowbirds go home.

One way to save a little money is to stop following the outdated advice to replace your smoke detector batteries when the time changes. Even if you have alkaline batteries, they should last at least 5 years, not 6 months. Lithium batteries will last even longer.

Definitely a ‘spring forward’ person. The perfect reset

Time Change

My daughter in Alaska says there is a saying up there that the white man is the only one who can cut off 1 foot from the bottom of his blanket, sew it to the top of his blanket, and convince himself he has a longer blanket.

Glass half full/Glass half empty type metaphor?

Absolutely correct.

I change all of mine after a year, tested them all with my multimeter, and they all registered at full strength. Another myth busted!

This is the reason to only change 1/2 hour and forget. People can't make up their mind which way to change. 1 and done.

The snowbirds are at home, their other home.
