Does anyone know what happened to Denise Textor since her attempted suicide last year? I heard she was out on bail but am unsure. I knew her briefly before the tragic incident.

Welcome Bob. I haven't heard of Denise and her tragedy...I don't think... Was she the person who shot her husband in the shower?

Yes she is. I met her and her husband a couple of times back in 2005 and they were such nice people. They were retired (he was a retired NJ Detective I believe) and were Red Cross volunteers who traveled to disaster sites to aid victims. Aside from the news reports, I have never been able to ascertain what happened to them.

It is very sad, indeed. Hubby and I used to play billiards with both of them and they seemed to be very nice. We never know what people are dealing with in their lives. May her family find peace and comfort. May Denise rest in peace.

I knew Denise since grammar school in Bogota, New Jersey; she was a wonderful friend, intelligent, gracious and a genuine friendly person. She was one of the first kids on the block to introduce herself and made the transition of moving into a new neighborhood easy. We went on to high school, graduated and went our separate ways; but whenever we came home and bumped into each other, she was always happy to see her classmates and we her. I can't imagine what happened in her marital life but I'm sure it was a stressful and extreme situation. Denise will be sorely missed by her friends in New Jersey and our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to her family.
