Sounds like it will be outside of golf cart travel.

It will be a 45 minute drive for us, Sams is maybe 20 minutes.

Thinking we will want a closer Costco.

Not sure the site quoted is any more reliable than the posts on TOTV.

Just another "rumor" site. Copied from their page:

The Costco website page for new locations coming soon is the only official place to get information about new stores opening
. However, there are rumors from various trustworthy sources around the Internet about other new Costco locations that are in the works.

"Trustworthy sources" = hairdressers, landscapers and various soothsayers.

Google Maps tells me Clermont is 48 minutes from my house. That’s only 15 minutes closer than Orlando Airport. It’s like driving to Ocala—I’m not going to if I don’t have to. Sam’s Club is only 10 minutes from my house, and I like it. I hear Costco is better, but it’s not 38 minutes better both coming and going. They carry pretty much the same stuff at the same price. I’ll stick to Sam’s Club.

With our present gas prices, which will probable increase substantially in the near future, the round trip to Costco's isn't worth it when you have Sam's 10 mins. away. PS: Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels in Publix's.
