If I were there, I'd be going. Hope The Nice Administrator will consider doing one again in the spring (after March) when we can come down. Hint, hint.

Skyguy

Your posts need to be clearer and not assume people know what you are talking about!.....after some research it would have been better to place your post under the main heading of Naples Italian resturant!

I am hoping for the event at Naples Restaurant for TOTV members will be a great success and well attended so there might be a possibily that they might be a recurring event.

I very big hint from someone who can't make it.

Admins: - I am about as subtle as a train wreck.

Thanks skyguy for starting this thread as I was under the impression the admins made the information available as a statement and members would not be able to post in the original thread as it was "closed". I am interested to see how many people are going.

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree with your constructive criticism about my post. My posting was made in the same exact group as the original announcement (General Discussion - not "Naples Italian resturant") just 89 minutes after the second posting that fully gave all the information needed about the event. I therefore saw no need to be redundant. The event was also fully publicized in another group, but that's not relevent to your comments; I think it was the one for ladies that I'm not quite qualified to participate in! LoL

My late sister also loved this quote and had it posted in a picture frame in her home. Every time I see the quote, it reminds me of her.

"Someday my ship will come in, but with my luck I'll probably be at the airport when it does!"

Shyguy

My only point was when you read a post in and by itself and you cannot understand it...(ie what was the reservation for...without reading a prior post??) it should be clearer. Myself and Billyg did not initially understand it BUT it became clearer after researching other posts. People donot always open every post, or dont simply go to general Discussion..they may go to "QUick Links" and only open new posts or posts for the day.

"Shy"? I know it was an honest typo, but it sure made for a good belly laugh. Thanks! The Villages Florida

I glad I made you laugh with my typo.

I have posted what I thought were funny items and did not get this kind of response.

I trust that you realized that I was not laughing at your typo but rather at the unintended content (at least I think it was unintended) that it created!

What made it even funnier is that once you did it, the next poster did too. So now, Skyguy, your official nickname is Shy.

My wife and I are going to the 7pm seating so you won't be alone.
