Are their newspaper boxes anywhere? Publix?

I'm not down here for a long enough stretch to warrant a subscription.. yet.

Yes, most mail stations have coin machines, 50 cents for the Monday to Saturday paper, and one dollar on Sunday. You can also buy the paper at the drugstores and grocery stores.

You can subscribe for various periods and turn it on/off for periods you are down. You just need to call subscription number and give them the dates you want delivery. Then when you arrive you will have that day’s paper waiting for you.

You can have mine. I walk out retrieve the newspaper from the driveway...the wife browses thru it in under 5 minutes...then it's in the trash bin.

If you are on a tight budget, you can save the sales tax by buying the paper from a machine because Publix and other stores add the tax.

Note that you won't get the Recreation and Parks news section unless you subscribe. It comes out on Thursday, and you can pick one up at the rec centers for free.

Smile Daily Sun purchase

The Daily Sun can be purchased by the pool in coin operated boxes. Additionally, a subscription is much cheaper and can be turned on and off as you come & go. A yearly subscription lasts me over two years..

Why would you want that fish wrapper? It gives fish a bad name.

You can subscribe for less and then just put a hold on it when you are gone. They give you credit for the days the paper is stopped. You may get two years out of your subscription if you are only here 6 months.

We typically spend about 20 weeks each year in TV. We've found that a subscription works best and is very economic compared to cash purchase. As others have said simply call a day ahead to turn on or off delivery.

Wow, that tax on $.50 can really add up.
