we heard a loud boom on the north end of The Villages about 4 pm, anyone else?

I heard it in Summerhill, too. It was like someone ran into the wall at full speed. The dog took exception to being disturbed, too.

I was in Beal's on 466 and thought the roof was caving in. My husband was home and said our sliding glass doors were moving. He wondered if it was an earthquake. I've heard the bombing from the range for 8 years now. This was different.

was on golf course "tarpon boil" about 3:30 to 4:00pm hear same seemed to be in direction of wildwood maybe,,,, also heard/felt same at 10:38 this am,i looked at clock,seemed to be ground level,not airborne....who knows !!!!!

The loud booms heard in The Villages this afternoon were the result of military systems weapons test, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

Probably United States military aircraft using the bombing range in Ocala National Forest honing their skills to protect our butts. Feel good about it.

I heard them in Silver Lake as well. Two in a row about 15 seconds apart.
