Default Enclosing Lanai on Wisteria

Has anyone enclosed the lanai on their Wisteria with acrylic? I am looking for the rough cost and any suggestions - things you like or dont like about it.

This is not my research, I have no details, but so your post so......

Our neighbors own a Wisteria and just got the quotes below..... We also own a Wisteria, so I asked them. I really like my screens now

Here are the estimates for the windows. Express Windows (in Wildwood)-very nice windows. $4624. for acrylic, and $6033 for glass. This is if you pay by cash or check. It's 3% higher if you pay by credit card. Custom Windows(from Old Word Pavers) $4655 cash or check.

Just talked with a gent that has a Jasmine II. he got some estimate on enclosing his lanai. His is the block version of the Wisteria II. He is doing it himself with help of some friends and some cheap labor from some of the const workers. Paid for the wood, drywall, windows. Paid some guys under the table to help with the stucco and all. I know alot of people cant do it like that, but to pay a contractor is alot. I would check it all out really good.
