$50 per year - not $600 per year. And it's equipment breakdown which includes A/C systems, heat pump as well as appliances. Also, if a power surge or lightning strike fries several pieces of equipment, they can all be combined into one breakdown.

Washer died last November. I bought a new Amana washer, high efficiency, large capacity, delivered, set up from Home Depot on their Black Friday sale for about $300.
Bought a used Ford from Car Max a few years ago, with. $1400 extended warranty. The warranty paid for some struts and a starter, and a couple of other things. It saved me about $1400. A friend has a maintenance policy from Broward, it paid off when his AC was damaged by a storm. Other than that, I have never seen extended warranties that were worth the price. |
