You need to add some form of "request mail ballot but dropped off at election offices in drop box (but not mailed back)." While I requested my ballot by mail I am not "voting by mail."

My exact plan too.

I did not want to granulate the poll too much. Sometimes simple is better.

I always vote by absentee ballot. Just waiting to receive it in the mail. I will drop it off and not mail.

I requested a mail-in ballot. If it arrives in plenty of time for me to use it, I'll probably drop it off at the Supervisor of Elections' office, and then continue on to Mt. Dora for a day of relaxation at the lake. If not, I'll just vote at the Paradise Rec Center on election day.

Heading to the registrar's office this week to vote. Taking Mom and Dad. Vote early and in person.

Never trust the mail. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We want our vote counted.

I grew up in Chicago. The standard message back then was - "vote early and often". The reality was their voter rolls were never cleansed, with dead folks, pets, etc etc. Probably still is.

At the last general election I had not received my ballot in time to mail it in so had to go to the polling place anyway. Very inconvenient.

I’ve found that in person voting is very easy here in the villages. I always vote early and at most just a few people there. I’ve never had to wait. Prior to moving here I always voted absentee because my commute to and from work made voting a close call.
