Default Springtime around The Villages

Hope you've had a chance to notice the pink wild phlox growing around the area. They are abundant right now and make a beautiful blanket on fields, and the side of the road, especially on 466A heading towards Fruitland Park.
They aren't around for too long, but while they are in bloom, I hope they brighten your day. Took this pic through the car window on 466A....it's just a tad on the dark side, but still, the vivid pink patch shows.

Just looked out the office window of my client in Two Rivers WI. Last of the dirty snow piles are finally melting. Maybe some flowers in another month, more likely, some snow this weekend. That's real Spring!

At least we get to wear our winter jackets another couple of weeks.

The quiet forces that change the flowers out are doing it again. About every so often they take out the flowers in all of the public places and replant with beautiful ones more suited to the temperature and waterfall of "that" season.

I noticed in the last few days that new ones were emerging in the public beds, perfectly planted in a symetrical way and color keyed to please the eye.

If I am near one of the gardeners who take the posies out and put the posies in, I thank them.

I so love the flowers and trees and bushes and beds and birds and dogs and older people who bloom here.

The beautiful flowers located in many public areas in the Villages and at the entrance / exit points always bring a bit of joy even while waiting for a traffic light to change . A moment of serenity .
An important feature which makes our community so special and unique . Hats off to those who work so hard to bring them about and maintain the beds . May this unique feature continue forever !

I noticed today that most of the magnolia trees are starting to bloom. Beautiful!
