I hope especially since they're paying for the Road work on 466A up to the end Park in The Villages they find a way o adding another tunnel as the road work is being done and bring a path in behind the shell station. Otherwise your right it will be way overloaded.

Default Crossing 466A From Village of Fruitland Park

If a new way is not provided to cross 466A from The Village of Fruitland Park (i.e. tunnel) I would guess some people will cross 466A at the light next to The Colony Care Center/Shell station. That would be a very dangerous situation

How would that be any more dangerous than golf carts now, legally, crossing 27/441 near Stonecrest?

FDOT would not approve the 466A crossing.
It is more than 2 lanes each side.

441/175th place, is only 2 lanes per side.
That is why the intersection at 441/McDonalds was not approved for a crossing.

If you have a street legal you could cross 466A.

Can't say for sure, I have looked for sensors but have not noticed them. I have been through there three times in the last couple of days in my golf cart. First time maybe seven carts were in front of me waiting for the light to change and the other two times I happened to be the only cart but the light changed quickly to green for me. On each occasion there were cars on that roadway also.

LOL....probably just as dangerous, but then again I don't remember mentioning 27/441.
