Question Traffic Safety Question

Does anyone know of any consideration having been given to the "Left Turn" signals at key intersections i.e. 466a & Morse.

Once the green arrow has timed out and you are attempting to turn left, I have found it difficult or impossible to see on-coming traffic which is obstructed by on-coming vehicles turning left.

Coming from the South Eastern Mich. area, I am accustomed to the green turn arrow turning red. This prevents the hidden danger turn.

We are new to TV but it appears there are almost daily fender benders at this intersections, could this be a possible reason why ?

I would not like those left turn lights to be red after the left turn arrow, but while the lanes going straight are green. Often there is no traffic going straight, especially at night, and it can be so frustrating to just sit there waiting for another turn cycle.

those roads are not always busy, just sometimes.
