Default Trash pickup?

Is there always a day delay when a holiday falls on a week day?

If you’re south of 44 and your collection days are Monday and Thursday, you basically just lose Monday altogether. Your next pickup is Thursday. This happens on all major holidays that fall on Monday.

I'm retired what ever the calendar tells me. New Years Day is always Jan1, Christmas is always on the 25th. Veterans Day is always Nov 11, Thanksgiving the 4th Thursday in November other Federal Holidays are designated to Monday's. Good Friday's are determined by the church either in March or April

We are retired. I still remember retired people jamming up the bank to have their interest posted to their accounts. Now we are them. Grocery shopping. We go every friday for the sales. There has to be something good about getting old besides the aches and pains. How about a sneak in day on weds? Only for folks who when they go to Mcdonalds they give you the senior special and they do not ask you to prove it.

This means that four weeks a year, we only get trash pickup once a week.

Memorial Day- Monday, May 30, 2022
Monday collection will be on Thursday, June 2, 2022

However, if you look at districts 1-11, they get regular trash pick up on weeks where they have holidays. Does anyone know if this will apply to South of 44, once the developer relinquishes control?

That's fine. We have a large covered trash can in our garage. We
put our trash bags in there until Thursday.
