Default The Travel Forum All aboard! Anaheim, Azusa and Cucamonga

Hi, I was looking at the Travel Forum and saw this “The Travel Forum
All aboard! Anaheim, Azusa and Cucamonga”. Being from Azusa I thought it was funny, (brother lives in Cucamonga, but now they call Rancho Cucamonga).
Have ever been there?

Thanks for your time

Yes I know it’s from a old Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Azusa is in a beautiful area. I have spent some time in Glendale, Pasadena and Sierra Madre and have driven around the region. Almost took at job at JPL in 1990. Rancho Cucamonga I have driven through many times going from the 10 to the 15 and back, to and from Vegas. Anaheim? My grandmother who lived in Glendale took me to Disneyland the summer it opened (1955) when I was 13. Go Angels!

"Everything from A to Z in the USA" as my dad used to say. Rancho is out there by Upland on the east end of the San Gabriel Valley. I used to work in Covina, and my parents lived in West Covina. I still have cousins in Glendora and an Aunt in Temple City and an Uncle in Arcadia (who used to work for the City of Alhambra).

Thanks for the trip down Family History Ln. I haven't been out that way since they punched the 210 along Foothill Bl past the 57. I especially miss the Vince's Spaghetti. It was a love it or hate it kinda place. The Route 66 location will ship nationally. The shipping cost is steep, but I got four meals out of it. They don't include reheating directions, so you need to call the Manager for that info or PM me.

I’m reminded of an old Jan and Dean song.
