Question Trolley questions

Do you have to make reservations?

How often does it leave or is it every hour from 9 to 3 or something like that?

Where do you get on?

How long does it last?

Thanks so much for the information.

The trolley leaves from the big building that houses The Villages Sales and Information Office at Lake Sumter Landing.

You need to go in and sign up for the trolley ride. It's a first come, first served basis. When we were there the trolley that was about to leave was filled, so we were 'booked' on the next one. They give you name tags so that the trolley driver and tour guide know you've signed up and they can keep count of how many have signed up so as not to overbook a trolley.

The trolleys leave about every 20-30 minutes and the ride last about half an hour. There is no charge and there are no stops along the way.

I highly recommend the trolley ride if you're new to The Villages.

Do you know when they stop running the trolly in the afternoon and about how many people can go? We're coming with 7 people.

Thanks again.

Call the Sales and information office 352-753-2270. I'm sure they would have up to date info..............

Call the sales office for certain, this is merely my recollection from last year.
It's a small bus, so holds about 20 people easily.
And 3pm for the last ride sounds about right.

There was a larger group on the bus when we did the trolley ride in March. I think they were there visiting a friend and walked in off the street. Earlier poster was right, first come, first served. It's about twenty minutes between starts.
