Default Advice where to get a small palm to plant

Hello. We recently had an Oleander tree cut down we had planted years ago. It’s now gone and we’d like to plant a small palm tree in a large pot we have to replace it.

We’ve seen a few relatively thin multi-trunk palms (or such) around with fine fronds. We think those may be a good fit there. Max height like 10’. I googled and perhaps it’s a yucca tree.

Question is - where in the TV general area is a nursery/garden center that may have small trees as this. I would want to procure it and plant in the large pot myself.

TIA for guidance.

I would check Home Depot and Lowes. If they don't have what you want, try

We have grown several palms from seed, collected from round the base of the parent.

Ours are Queen Palms, so they would be too big for a pot after maybe five years, but you could maintain a steady stream of babies and replace as necessary.

I think we planted 40 seeds and six germinated successfully.

Fairfield and K&B are your best bet. Pots dry out quicker than in ground plantings, so a Yucca (or any other drought tolerant plant) would be your best bet.
