Default Trying to keep warm

Unheard of in Florida, right? HAH!
I am trying not to turn the heat on. Thinking warm thoughts and all that. Extra sweater. I hope I remember this next July.

I don't mind this at all. It's fun to wear jeans & jackets for a bit. However, I am so happy at our luck in the decision to move down here permanently. But I'm so sorry for the folks up north, especially our kids, whose jobs hold them there.

Hot chocolate by the gallon....and a warm blanket....and put on a sweater or a sweatshirt...and then, pop some popcorn, put on a good movie and enjoy! (After the warm summer months, I promised myself I would not complain about the cold.....I will not complain about the cold, I will not complain about the cold.....Cripes, it's going to be colder tonight....lol. Well, more hot chocolate for me... )

12 degrees with a windchill of minus 3. Ohio is lovely this time of year. Even my American Eskimo didn't want to go for a walk this morning. Ya'll come visit us soon!

I'm loving this weather for a change! Pulled out my Uggs and enjoying! The best part is the cold won't last long here.

I don't want to turn the heat on either Jeanne. I put a roast in low and slow for many hours and the kitchen is smelling nice and feeling cosy.

I am never happy. I am either too hot or too cold.

I started using my golf cart propane heater today. Nice and toasty on my rounds!

12 degrees in Akron when I drove to my doctor today. Same wind chill so you must live near our Tallmadge condo.

I can't wait till Jan. 1, when Paula and I begin the New Year with three months in The Villages on Rainbow Drive, which sounds like an appropriate street name for our feeling when we thaw out there.

It felt good today to wear a heavier jacket and or sweatshirt with jeans. It does get a bit cool, but nothing compared to the upper states. Four feet of snow in Buffalo.

I don't miss the snow one bit. I don't have to deal with it anymore, so it's a non issue for me. We are all spoiled down here in the sunshine state.

I broke down. It was registering 72 in the house and I put the heat on to get to 75. Oh the shame.

77F in Newport Beach, CA @ 3:00 pm. We are experiencing Santa Anas, dry winds from the desert out toward the sea. Warm in daytime, cool at night (55F).
