not to put in any more Tiki Bars at the CClub Pools? I notice whenever I am in the north section that HHills and OBlossom pools are always busy with folks enjoying the music and the tiki bars. It seems to me that those 2 pool bars do a VERY good business selling snacks, drinks..It doesn't make sense with all the new folks moving in down here south of 466 that they wouldn't offer that?? hmmm…...Just wondering if anyone knows the reason they stopped adding tiki bars to the pools?

I assume a tiki bar takes sales away from the bar inside the CC. Maybe they decided it was a worthless duplication. It is an enjoyable ambiance, but might not make business sense.

I thought that I read somewhere that in the renovation of Orange Blossom they are taking out the tiki bar. Anyone else read that or did I imagine it?

That is true about OB. No bars at pool Sof 466...I heard something about county regulations but who knows if that is true.

Maybe they just can't find anybody to carve a decent tiki.

I would love to have tiki bars at the other pools. I hope that someone reads these messages and puts more in.

They attract smokers then no one can enjoy them or the pool so why build

They attract Tiki birds and we would have the Tiki poop problem and have to discuss it endlessly.

I agree!! I often wondered why all CC pools south of 466 did not have pool service as they do north of 466? When Havana's pool first opened, they did have pool service but that was abandoned by the manager because he claimed he couldn't afford the extra staff required to service the pool. I always thought it was just him cause he was such a jerk.

I really love the resort atmosphere and music at the Lopez pool and Hacienda pools I would probably utilize them more if they were all like that. What do you think?

The tiki bars are closed because they attract smokers - really? Is that why there are no more bars or pubs anywhere in the U.S.??

Default OK….Let's settle this rumor….:o)

I heard from a pretty reliable source (an employee) that Hemingway at Havana will be putting in an outside pool bar. The owner also runs the Oasis Pool Bar at Lopez. Anybody else heard this "rumor"?

Orange Blossom CC is north of 466.

When they first took over several months ago, one of the managers told us that they were planning on installing an outdoor bar in the causeway area which was why they refused to serve lunch or dinner in that area. There was no mention of a tiki type bar in the pool area but that would be nice.
