Default Garage storage/cupboards/shelving

I know this has been discussed in various postings, but now that we are focusing on getting it done, I want to know:
What is the best storage configuration for a two car garage (we have a villa at The Haciendas). We do not have lots of tools, just lots of stuff of various sizes. So if you want to line both walls with storage, and want it to look good and have cupboard doors, and do not want it to interfere with the car door, 1) what have you put in, 2) what did it cost approximately 3) what material are the cupboards made out of; and 4) who do you recommend as the most skilled and creative to make it all fit? Name and phone number of the person...
If you have pictures of your storage in your garage, that would be great too and if you do not know how to attach a picture to TOTV, email me at
jane032657@aol.com
5) And anything to think about NOT doing when installing cupboards?

Thank you in advance. You guys rock!

The garages are "small" when the cars are in. Cabinets with doors can be a problem. I would use the wire shelfs but, put them on adjustable down rods instead of the braces. I would then but some Cutains ( I use black ones from lowes) over them. You then have access without the doors hitting the cars. If you want cabinets, "Specialized Storage Soloution" (407) 718-6818 does some nice work at reasonable prices. He brings the cabinets off the floor a little so rain water does not damage them.

There are many plans you can get online and have a local handy man put together you. You can buy pre-made at the lowes or HD.

One idea is wrap the 3 walls up high with this style very cost effective.

About $20 per foot running foot in materiel.
A handyman can build each 10' section in about 4-5 hours, so at $25 an hour labor you can figure $125 per 10' length. total $325

Here's the plans
