We will finally be making our way from Ca to Florida mid Dec. Would love to do Lifestyle visit but our daughter in Orlando is having a baby, so will be coming to TV spur of the moment, (baby dictates our schedule) and hoping to find hotel vacancy for a night or two. Does anyone know if there is generally availability for mid Dec, before Christmas???
I know i will be posting more questions as we get closer to DEC. Seems like i know a lot of you already, from reading this forum, what seems like forever! |

We didn't have a problem getting a room at the Comfort Suites last December. It is right on the edge of TV near Spanish Springs and is very reasonable. We have stayed there a couple of time since then! The price varies on the time of the year but I think we paid around $90-$100 a night. It is a newer hotel. They have nice size rooms and have a separate living area with a sofa, fridge and microwave.

Like Sable stated, I think you'll be good for getting a room prior to Xmas........but I'd suggest making reservations as soon as you can. We used to stay at the Holiday Inn Express adjacent to Spanish Springs and never had a problem getting advance reservations for December.

I have stayed at the Comfort Suites (and will be staying there again the night after my rental ends in October). Like other posters have said, the Comfort Suites is right at the edge of Spanish Springs.
I have also stayed at the Towne Suites in Spanish Springs, the Hampton Inn on 466 and the Waterfront Inn at Lake Sumter Landing. All hotels were good. Waterfront Suites is probably the most "upscale" of all of them. If you have an AARP or AAA membership, check to see if you get a discount. You can usually save about 10% that way. |
