I will be staying in TV for 4 months this winter from Upstate NY. I will have a resident's ID during my time there. I have a friend in Clermont, FL (Lake County) who will be visiting me from time to time. I would like to get her a Guest ID so we can go to the pools, etc together. I see there are restrictions for FL residents who live in Lake County regarding guest ID's. Any suggestions for her visits so we can enjoy the amenities together? I want to follow the rules but not sure how this can be done. Thanks for your input.

In-area id guest cards are not available to friends. The are only available to children, etc. of the resident.
"A resident who has a son, daughter, grandchild or great grandchild (and their spouses) who reside in Lake, Marion or Sumter counties may apply for an In-Area Guest ID card." Guest id cards are not issued for a friend/acquaintance from Lake, Sumter, or Marion counties. Full guest id policy is here: http://www.districtgov.org/departmen...D%20Policy.pdf |
