I'm sorry, you're correct. Lake Nona was owned by Tavistock, the company that owned (or does own) Isleworth, where Tiger was or is.

Annika Sörenstam, Graeme McDowell, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose and bunch of other PGA/LPGA Touring professionals are members of Lake Nona.

You've provided excellent information in your posts and for the record, I don't believe the OP stated it needed to be a retirement community. It would have been nice for us personally to be in on the ground floor, we're not dedicated to living with old people and the upside is impressive. But that ship has sailed.

I have to ask, what keeps you here.. your employment?

Lake Nona is one of the premier, upscale communities in Florida. Tiger Woods and many multi-millionaire sports figures live there, for the exclusivity and proximity/access to the.Orlando Airport, for commuting reasons.

Your asking to compare a Hyundai to a Mercedes. The Median Family income in Lake Nona is about 50% higher than in TV.
I thought Tiger Woods lived near Palm Beach.

Tiger now lives in Jupiter, but previously lived in Isleworth which is in Windermere, near Orlando.

Good restaurants and healthcare….. it’s a no brainer…… Lake Nona for sure. No question. I love TV. I was born in Orlando and grew up in Leesburg. I still go to Orlando for any significant healthcare situations and anytime I want good food. There’s just much much more to do in Orlando.

We keep more than one residence, two lakefront, that nothing will eat you. Our kids have 3 ocean vaca homes. So we have change of scenery at any time.

LN has great medical, restaurants, parks, gym, however just like TV doesn’t have ocean view. Golden Oak would be a runner up if I wanted another home inland. Next house will be on the coast, just trying to decide what Hurricane zone would be worth it.

Why would it have to have a high rating ( and you are using past data) if everyone is so healthy in TV?

With all the promoted Heavy Drinking, Greasy Food and Constant Lawn Chemicals, you'd think it was a Round-Up to Expire everyone sooner so they can flip the houses for Commi$$ion

Used to live over there, it's a toss up. Lake Nona is over priced in some areas, under resourced, and over populated a traffic nightmare at times. It's also in the 'storm track' as in dead center,

here...well it's over rated, just like Lake Nona actually a lot like Lake Nona except the levels of 'snottyness' are different. Frankly I'd take neither

Default VA Hospital in impressive

I took my cousin over to the VA Hospital in LN. It is quite impressive. Huge facility. After his tests, went to get something to eat. About 3:30 in afternoon. Traffic was terrible. The overall "ambience" of area after we left VA area was typical city scape. TV is very well maintained and just looks nice. Some say TV is "Disneyland Esque". You can sure tell when you leave "the bubble" here.

Before looking at any community, first identify your needs and wants. Then go shopping. Too many fall victim to the sales pitch and make emotional decisions only to feel unfulfilled later.

There are several communities in Fl somewhat similar to The Villages. Lake Nona is not one of them. Lake Nona is known as a high end exclusive community, whereas TV and others such as Lakewood Ranch, Solivita and many others are geared toward more middle class retirees. I would not expect the social environment in Lake Nona to be like that in TV.

All statistics can be manipulated and are manipulated. All of the above is everywhere and TV is still going to be older. It is a RETIREMENT Commmunity
