The new surgery center acroos the street from the Waterfront hotel on the corner. Utilities in and nothing since.

The new intensive care facility on Rainey Trail (472). Has been complete for months sitting unoccupied.

Anybody know why these projects are stopped?

I read somewhere there was a permitting issue with the facitlity on Rainey Trail.

I was wondering that too, until I saw all the workers' pick-up trucks parked there for construction of the cottages across the street. I'd say they planned to have the parking lot ready to serve as a staging area for this project. Once it's complete they'll get on with leasing and building the medical center.
