Default e-waste

Many years ago I took my e-waste to the Sweetbay car park in Lake Sumter Landing, where there was a long line of vehicles waiting to drop off.

Such a shame that, now The Villages has a population of 140,000, the nearest e-Waste collection is no longer golf-cart accessible, but at the Sumter County Fairgrounds (April 1).

I suspect that many people who live here have a number of electronic/computer items that they no longer use (and no-one would want to buy) but, currently, putting them in the regular trash is the easy option.

Okahumpka is crowded at the opening, but if you go around late morning, there's no line.
