Default Storm Info From VCDD

Severe Weather Information- UPDATED 9/9/2017

The District Customer Service will remain available throughout the night and weekend hours to answer your questions and provide updated information. To reach us, please call (352) 753-4508.

Due to the severe weather, the District has the following preparations in place:

· District Property Management and Recreation secured outdoor pool furniture, patio furniture and garbage cans on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m.
· All outdoor recreation facilities including swimming pools and outdoor court facilities are now closed. They will remain closed until further notice.
· Recreation Centers are scheduled to remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th. They will remain closed on Sunday, September 10th and Monday, September 11th.
· District administrative offices will be closed on Monday, September 11th.
· Community Watch removed all gate arms. If you approach a gate where the gate arm has been removed, please use extreme caution and make sure to stop before proceeding.
· All golf courses will be closed on Sunday, September 10th and Monday, September 11th.
· Irrigation will continue to run along common areas and roadways to lower the water levels in water retention areas. This is done to ensure adequate capacity of the storm water management system.

We will continue to post updates and information as they become available. Facilities will only be re-opened after it has been determined that the area and facilities are safe to do so. We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience. Please continue to check Village Community Development Districts for additional updates and information.
