Is there a VA hospital in The Villages? I thought I remembered hearing something about that.

I am not a veteran, but a friend of mine was asking about it.

There is a VA clinic on CR42, in The Mulberry Grove shopping mall.

There is a VA hospital in Tampa.

The VA hospital for veterans living in TV is in Gainesville, it's just slightly over an hour's drive. If you do have to go there, they pay mileage which is about $35.

There's a shuttle van run by DAV as I recall.

The DAV Van runs daily from Spanish Springs bus stop, leaves at 7am daily, one must call the VA to be put on the daily manifest.

The VA Clinic in TV is associated with the Gainesville VA. I use this clinic and am very happy with the care I get.

We have used both facilities also...VERY pleased....all levels of the staff have exhibited a professional and personal presona.
