Thanks for the info. The newspaper said everyone schedule had been notified. I have an appt today 2:30-3:00. I drove by Woodridge Drive and saw it was under water. Since I signed up with "SafeRestart" and the paper only mentioned GMR I wasn't sure it included SafeRestart. It's all a little confusing. I hope they notify me of the location for my 2nd shot if it changes.

Go to Sumter Lake College in Sumterville. 17 mi from 466 and Buena Vista off 301S. Not a bad drive. They are currently giving shots to many that signed up Jan12. They will get to all as plan on 800-1400 shots daily depending on vaccine supply.

Well this vaccine distribution SUCKS !
I will wait till Publix or the Indoor sites are approved .
I arrived at the scheduled time -11:30 on the 18th ! No one around , ‼️
I received an email at 12:08 same day ! After my scheduled time . To go to Sumter College in Summerville .
Rediculous ‼️

Same here, we were due for #2 vaccine on 2/19 in Groveland, which is closed due to unavailability of vaccines. Read that Groveland expects next shipment early next week (week of 2/22). Will continue to check updated articles for reopening of Groveland site & leave home at 2:20 am to wait in line, as we did before. Haven’t heard from any other sites where I applied to reserve for the vaccine. Good luck!

How do I let them know I no longer need the vaccine because I went elsewhere to get it? I received an e-mail this morning with a code to make an appointment, but got the vaccine 2 weeks ago in Leesburg because we heard from them first. I guess if I don't schedule an appointment with my code that they'll get the message?

Thank you for wanting to cancel with GMR. By doing this, you will help people move up quicker on the list to schedule vaccinations. So much appreciated!

Another poster said how to do this......If you get a scheduling code but already got a shot elsewhere , please let GMR know so they can move the next person up. You can do it on the saferestart website, just use your code and follow the contact us directions.

My husband and I signed up with GMR on Jan. 13. We received a code on February 16 and made appointments for the next afternoon. They sent us a bar code receipt with the times for both shots and the location as Woodbridge Dr. The paper on Jan 17 mentioned there had been a change in location for GMR so we checked our e-mail and found one for each of us changing the location to Sumter Community College (south on 301). We arrived, got our shots in a field behind the small campus. Everything went smoothly and they were well organized. They did say they weren't sure where the second shot would be administered, but that we would receive an e-mail. They were giving the Moderna vaccine. So relieve to have this process started.

GMR is now working on their Jan. 13th Wait List. I signed up Jan. 13 and was notified on Feb. 18 to sign-up for the shot. If you look at other threads, many other (Jan. 13th) people have been notified.

To be put on the Wait List, you should have received an email titled "Safe Restart Vaccine Requested". You would have received it immediately after you signed up with GMR. If you have the email, contact GMR and see what your status is.
