Since moving to TV, we have drastically driven less. Bought new Acura MDX in August 2020 and now have <5k miles on it. Like the vehicle but it is not as important to us, since we drive +/- 400 miles a month.

If you are interested in a smaller SUV, check out the Honda HRV. It is a very nice ride, gets excellent gas mileage, and has a lot of room in the back if you fold down the rear seats. It doesn’t have a lot of acceleration power, but that’s the trade off for the excellent gas mileage. My wife loves hers, and it has grown on me even though I like a bigger vehicle.

Anybody owned a Rolls Royce Cullinan? I have seen two recently.

Folks seem to enjoy their Bentley Bentaygas.

Mazda cx-5 touring.
Tested ever one in the class.
There was no close second in performance, price luxurious fit and finish. Won't leave rubber on the road, but we aren't 18 any more, are we?

By the obnoxious loud pipes on everything from cycles to antique cars driven by 50-60 year old's running through TV,
You would think their all 18 years old again.

A 4 Door Cab 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost with an onboard 7 KW generator should be at the top of your list. It is better than an SUV. It will power your entire house during a Power Outage for days.

Ford explorer king cab. Mine is a 2011 and has cost me practically nothing in repairs. Just regular oil, tires ect. I have 160 thousand miles on it. It is always easy to get it fixed any where. Normally just have local young men fix it, they all know how to take apart a ford engine, and part are much less expensive!

Yes the RAV4 is the one to get. I’ve had two of them, never did anything to the 2004 in over 140,000 miles.
Still running great when I traded it for a 2012 because I wanted a V6 engine. 50,000 on the 2012 and no issues.
Love them.

Acura MDX. Got my 1st in 2001, 2nd in 2014. 2001 is still in the family and working well. So comfortable, so much utility. Quick pick-up, and U-turns so easy. I’m sure I’ll get my 3rd in 5-10 years. If too large look at RDX. Not cheap as new, but worth it. Don’t think I’d hesitate looking at used.

I like your explanation of why you didn't keep your previous vehicles. I see lots and lots of people on here say they're on their 5th or 6th Toyota, BMW, Lexus, Ford etc. and wondered if they were soooo happy with their previous vehicle, WHY did they get rid of them???
