We just bought a 2022 Lexus RX 350. It’s our 3rd and we love this car.
Our Son was the lucky recipient of our previous Lexus SUV’s.

Not in same class, naturally if it’s bigger vehicle you can get more in it usually.

Depends on the day and where I am going. We can pull out the Jeep, Rover for questionable roads, Enclave, to Disney, just in case you stop at Ikia or Costco on the way home, or the convertible, just for fun.

If I only had one car, it would be a GM midsize SUV, because of red carpet benefits

We bought a Subaru Forester in May, luckily before all of this craziness, but inventories were still low at that time.
We were looking for a car that had every safety and warning feature possible. This does, with front and back collision control, audible lane change warnings and adaptive cruise control. The only thing we don't like is that the engine cuts off at long stop lights which is a little disconcerting.
I'm going to ask if that can be disconnected at my next service call.
We were limited in what we could purchase because our new house had built-in cabinets across the back of the garage, therefore we couldn't purchase anything over 105". We looked at the top line Rogue, but felt the interior was very "plasticity". The Forester Touring has a much better interior plus a moonroof, which I open slightly on hot sunny days to cool the car when shopping.
